One of the ways that Friendsville Animal Center, LLC gives back is by providing free boarding and staff care at the Center to a limited number of animals who for some reason have lost their homes. In association with the nonprofit, The Animal Protectorates, we are able to give these pets a five-star stay until they find a matched family. The program is called the Friendsville Scholarship Pet Program. The animals who are chosen for these scholarships have passed a health and behavior assessment and are spayed/neutered, given current vaccinations and provided a microchip. When adopted, each scholarship pet also receives a 30% life-time boarding subsidy to Friendsville Animal Center, LLC (through a generous gift from the Rios Family Trust).
